The Homewood Cemetery was incorporated over a century ago to help accommodate the needs of a constantly growing city.  The Homewood Cemetery is a non-profit, full service cemetery with over 200 acres of land.  In it’s development, it has come to provide for every legal and modern form of burial. TRADITIONAL GROUND BURIAL

Many families prefer traditional ground burial.  The Homewood Cemetery offers families and individuals a choice of location throughout the beautiful landscaped grounds in a park-like setting. Families and individuals can purchase property to fit their needs - from a grave lot to an entire family estate for the family to pass down from generation to generation.

MAUSOLEUM

To meet the needs of a growing demand for above ground entombment, The Homewood Cemetery opened the magnificent Chapel Mausoleum, Quiet Reflections. This building is one of the premier mausoleums in the Allegheny County Area offering climate control, carpeting, vaulted ceilings and an indoor fountain.

LAWN CRYPT

For families who desire the advantage of a clean, dry, vented above ground entombment, but prefer ground burial, The Homewood Cemetery has an alternative package available.  The alternative Lawn Crypt program eliminates all worries for the family and offers full protections.

MEMORIALIZATION

The Homewood Cemetery offers a complete line of memorials.  Various sizes and styles are available ranging from bronze to granite, from single memorials to large central features.  We can also duplicate any memorial. Our prices are the lowest possible and include  foundation and installation charges. Individual attention is given to each family to arrange a lasting tribute for their loved ones.

CASKETS

We now offer the option to pre-plan for caskets. The caskets we provide are comparable in selection and quality to any available elsewhere.  This preplanning eliminates one more decision to be faced at the time of need.

OTHER ADVANTAGES

The Homewood Cemetery offers payments up to two years with NO FINANCE CHARGES.  We also provide a Child Protection Plan and a Forgiveness Protection Plan.
